Rep. Eason McIntyre
Hundreds of breast cancer survivors, patients, friends and families gathered at the Oklahoma State Capitol Tuesday for the 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
The education event was co-chaired by Sen. Judy Eason McIntyre, a five-year breast cancer survivor, and Rep. Tommy Hardin, whose wife has also battled the deadly disease.
The event focused on the importance of early detection and mammograms, which McIntyre credits with saving her life.
