Lynchburg - High school baseball at Heritage, cross-town rival E.C. Glass defeated the Pioneers on Heritage Senior Night 6-1.
Top of the sixth, Glass' Will Brickhouse slaps a single to left for one of his two hits on the night, Devantae Dews races in to score to make it 6-1 Hilltoppers.
Heritage pitcher Sage Pedro later gets the strikeout to get the Pioneers out of the seventh.
But Dutch Lovern drove in three runs, Steven Burneson two and three Topper pitchers combined on a five-hitter. Toppers improve to 14-and-4 on the season with the victory. The Seminole Tournament begins this coming Monday.
