Hey there. It's going to be a sunny and warm weekend, and you can enjoy that weather at some great outdoor festivals this weekend.
It's one Danville's most popular events, and this year it's even better. It's the 38th year of Festival in the Park, and you and your family can join in on the fun May 18-20. There will be great live music, tons of vendors, a health fair and even a 5K run.
If you've never been, you should really make it out to the 20th Annual Monacan Powwow this weekend. You'll hear and see Native American drums and dancers in their full-out costumes. It's something you definitely don't see every day. There will also be crafts, artists and of course so much food. That's May 19-20 at Elon.
In Buena Vista—there's the Cork & Blues Fest May 19. Come out to enjoy some great blues music from three bands. Of course, there will be wine tasting from six Virginia vineyards. Tickets are $20, and that's 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Get details on the fest here or on the event's Facebook page.
If you're a Jerry Seinfeld fan, and let's be real who isn't, listen up! He's coming to Roanoke in July, and tickets go on sale Friday, May 18. He's been called the "master stand-up comic of his generation." Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., so be ready! Get your tickets here.
