Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg dog park supporters are hoping to find a new friend in an old foe.
Lynchburg is once again in the PetSafe Bark for your Park contest hoping to get money for phase 2 of the dog park.
Last year, Lynchburg lost out to Huntington, West Virginia. Now
"Friends of the Lynchburg Dog Park" has sent a letter asking the Huntington group to support Lynchburg this time around with their online votes. They agreed to forward the email to their entire list,.
Also, this Saturday volunteers will be at Pet and Aquatic Warehouse in Lynchburg soliciting votes.
If you want to help, you get two votes a day: one on the
website and one on
Facebook. One city will win $100,000, and this year two runners up will win $25,000 each.
Incidentally phase one of the dog park, which is just a basic fence, is set to open by the end of June.
