Danville, VA - Vendors were busy setting up for the annual festival in the park in Danville Thursday.
The three day festival starts Friday and there will be about a 100 arts and crafts vendors and plenty of fun activities for kids.
If you're a runner, Nestle will also be holding their annual 5-K run. There will also be Big Boned BBQ and a variety of music.
"We've got all types of entertainment, not just country- on Friday night we got the Dickens Band, they play a little reggae and top 40, on Saturday we got an up and coming county star and you're gonna get to see him free," said L.C. Moore, president of Festival in the Park Inc.
Officials say the event is free, with the exception of the children's rides and food.
