Time Capsule Buried in Appomattox in 1982 Finally Opened - WSET.com - ABC13

Appomattox, VA - Some people in Appomattox had a chance to revisit their past Tuesday at an elementary school there. They opened a time capsule from 1982 at the old Appomattox Elementary school.

Some of the people who buried it helped to open the garbage can that was buried at the school.

The capsule included a pair of Calvin Klein jeans and a toy spaceship. Current fifth graders from Appomattox Elementary also took part in the ceremony.

The fifth and sixth grade gifted classes of 1982 put that capsule together.
