Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg City Schools is one of three districts in the state that's been selected for a financial aid project.
The US Department of Education says 92 districts nationwide were chosen at random to track whether high school seniors have completed the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid" - or FAFSA.
The form determines whether a student qualifies for grants and loans and also helps families figure out how to afford higher education.
