Bond Granted to Hit & Run Suspect

Lynchburg, VA - The man accused in a deadly hit and run in Lynchburg will stand trial in July.

Jeremy Jarry, 21, was in court Monday morning, and his trial date is set for July 16.

The Campbell County man is accused of hitting and killing 53-year-old Michael Jones in March.

Jones was riding up 12th Street on a bike at the time and his family says he was carried on the hood of Jarry's truck before being thrown off.

Jones was later found dead with internal injuries and a broken back.
