LYNCHBURG - Brookville rising seniors Hilson Atkins (wide/slot receiver) and Kendall BeCraft (quarterback) have been invited to attend the USA Football U-19 National Trials. The National Team Program will be held this summer from Thursday, July 5 through Sunday, July 8 in Austin, Texas. This program is designed to give current high school juniors a chance to earn a spot for Team USA in the International Bowl.
The International Bowl is USA Football's premier annual event that features Team USA versus the World.
USA Football believes that the U.S. National Team should be selected on the football field and this program helps to ensure that. Athletes will undergo four days of training and development and will be evaluated by Team USA scouts with NFL and college scouting experience for the opportunity to play for Team USA in the International Bowl.
