Jonathan Agee's Trial Delayed Until January 2013 - WSET.com - ABC13

Franklin Co., VA - The murder trial for former Franklin County deputy Jonathan Agee has been delayed until next year.

Agee is accused of shooting and killing his ex-wife Jennifer Agee in a gas station parking lot last Memorial Day.

He's also charged with shooting a state trooper.

Defense attorneys and prosecutors filed a joint motion Monday.

The trial was supposed to start on June 18 but is now set for January 21.

Agee's attorneys asked for more time to review discovery material.
