Lynchburg, VA - The Jones Memorial Library on Rivermont Avenue is now owned by a small college in Tennessee.
The Patrick Henry Institute previously owned the building. It was founded in 1995 as a public policy think tank.
After leaving the library in 2008, the institute's founder has been affiliated with Bryan College's Center for Law and Public Policy. The founder and college president decided to transfer the deed and that went through last week.
Now Bryan College is talking with interested buyers. Jones could become a restaurant and brewery, a reception hall or office space.
