Halifax Co., VA- State Police are investigating an accident after a motorcyclist was airlifted to Roanoke Carilion Memorial Hospital Saturday evening.
Officials say the accident happened at around 6 p.m. on Route 360 in Halifax County.
They say a motorcycle was traveling west on the road when a truck pulled out of a side road. The motorcycle ran into a trailer the truck was pulling.
The impact totaled the bike. The motorcyclist was talking when he was airlifted, and police say he is expected to be OK.
Names of the victims have not yet been released. An investigation is underway.
