Callands Man Sentenced for Making Illegal Whiskey - WSET.com - ABC13

Pittsylvania Co., VA - One of two men who made illegal whiskey in Pittsylvania County has learned his punishment.

Monday, a judge sentenced  Daniel Matthews, 37, to five years in prison with four of those years suspended. He'll also be on two years supervised probation following his release.

Investigators arrested Matthews and Ricky Easley, 55, last December and seized six 800 gallon stills and other items used to make whiskey.
