Lynchburg, VA – There will be groundbreaking ceremony for the Greater Lynchburg Transit Company's new bus transfer center sometime in September.
The company in charge of the construction, Wendel Duchscherernew, is also releasing some drawings of what the new center on Kemper Street will look like. Officials say the brick building will include steel canopies.
Once crews start their work in September, it will be about 15 months or so to finish the GLTC center. Construction will include some road work.
