Update June 14:
Bedford, VA - Trident Seafoods based in Seattle, Washington has now confirmed it will lease the facility for about one year.
Trident hopes to begin operating as soon as possible, but there's no word how many they'll be hiring.

Bedford, VA - It appears a new company is opening in the Brooks Food Group plant in Bedford though it might just be temporary.
Bedford Mayor Skip Tharp confirms he's been informed that a company plans to lease the plant for a specific length of time which didn't appear permanent. He didn't know the name of the company.
However Trident Seafoods based in Seattle has a number of job listings for a Bedford location, and Tharp says he knows of no other companies opening in Bedford. Trident Seafoods has not returned our calls or emails.
