Lynchburg - Former NFL All-Pro linebacker Buddy Curry is bringing his Kids & Pros Youth Football Camp back to the Lynchburg area for a second straight year.
The former G.W. and North Carolina linebacker is hosting the camp this year at Lynchburg City Stadium July 9th through the 12th. Former Hokie star Jake Grove and UVa's Chris Slade are expected to help out. Curry says the camp teaches kids not just FOOTBALL fundamentals but also LIFE AND CHARACTER lessons.
Buddy Curry, KIDS & PRO FOOTBALL CAMP, said "The messages that are coming from the camp are five core principles; sportsmanship, integrity, excellence, perseverance and teamwork and we feature those. And we talk to the kids about making good decisions and not going along with the crowd if the crowd is doing something that's destructive."
