Man Gets Sentence for Starting Bassett Warehouse Fire - WSET.com - ABC13

Henry Co., VA - The man accused of setting the old Bassett Furniture plant on fire last year found out his punishment Wednesday morning.

Silas Crane pleaded guilty in Henry County Circuit Court to charges of grand larceny, burglary and arson.

A judge sentenced him one year and one month in prison.

The fire broke out last November at the plant and destroyed most of it.

Officials say Crane will also have to pay thousands of dollars in restitution to two businesses he stole from.
