Salem House Fire, No Injuries

Salem, VA - An investigation is underway after a fire tore through a house in Salem.

Crews were called to the home in the 500 block of Westminister Lane just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the home. Officials say the home suffered extensive damage.

Two people were inside at the time the fire broke out but were able to get out safely.
