Crews Respond to Fire in Lynchburg, No Major Damage - WSET.com - ABC13

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg firefighters were called to a house fire Thursday afternoon, but a quick response saved any major damage.

The fire broke out before two in the 2,000 block of Overbrook Drive.

The firefighters say people who lived there were in the yard when the fire started in the basement. Fire officials credit smoke alarms with quickly alerting people near the house.

No one was hurt.
