Botetourt County, VA - State police say a tractor trailer driver faces charges - for an accident on Interstate 81 Thursday. They say, around 2:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon in Botetourt County, 55-year-old Alan Day was hauling frozen foods South on 81, when he ran off the right side of the road and hit an embankment, causing the truck to flip onto its side.
Day is charged with reckless driving. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The right lane of I-81 south was blocked for more than two hours.
