Richmond, VA - The Virginia Republican Convention is now underway in Richmond and a vote Friday could make a big difference in who is nominated to run for governor next year.
Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling are seeking the party's nomination.
More than 4,000 delegates will decide Friday whether to pick their nominee in an open primary election or a closed convention. Cuccinelli's backers prefer a convention.
Bolling and his supporters, including Governor Bob McDonnell, support a primary.
