Chase PatrickRadford, VA – Officials have arrested a man they say robbed and beat a woman in her home in Radford.
Police say they responded to the 200 block of Ingles Street near midnight Saturday. They found a 70-year-old woman who had been beaten and robbed of her purse, $800 and medication. She was taken to the New River Valley Center and was treated. She got stitches in her head and was later released.
After investigating, police found and arrested Chase Allen Patrick, 26, late Saturday night. He's been charged with robbery, aggravated malicious wounding, burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Police say a 15-year-old was with Patrick and is also charged in connection to the crimes.
