Lynchburg, VA- Lynchburg will see a new apartment complex by the end of this year. Two buildings on Kemper Street will house 48 subsidized apartments. All of the apartments will be handicap accessible.
The developer says plans for this complex have been in the works for about three years, but the economic downturn put it on hold for a while.
A North Carolina company helped pick up the plans about 18 months ago. Construction on the buildings started this spring after getting the proper approval from the city.
