Danville Braves Open Season at Home Tuesday Night


Danville - The Danville Braves hosted a fan Meet and Greet Monday night with all the players on this season's team.


The event was pushed back due to rain, but despite the wet weather the fans still came out to support their local ballclub.  The Braves host the Elizabethton Twins in their season opener Tuesday night at 7 at Dan Daniel Park.  
       Danville Braves players were excited to see the fans and they're eager to get the season started Tuesday night.  

Frank Lafreniere, Starting Pitcher, said "It's actually my first time meeting fans. I have been with the organization for a year and a half already and it's my first time in Danville."

Blake Brown, Braves Outfielder. said "Always having great support is a good thing. Showing that they care helps us know that we are playing for a good reason and we are playing for great people out here."
