Nelson Co., VA - A Nelson County man pleaded guilty to killing Amy Holden Tuesday.
Francis Quiros, 39, pleaded guilty to second degree murder after Holden, 41, was found dead December 14 of last year.
Deputies say Quiros called 911 to tell them to send an ambulance because he thought he killed someone. They found him standing outside her home with a bloody towel and blood on his clothes.
Quiros was living with his brother and his wife, who is Holden's sister.
He says he went over to her house to borrow a book..Holden told him to leave, and he says he blanked out. He only remembers washing blood off his hands in the sink.
Quiros faces up to 40 years in prison. His hearing is set for August 28.
