Roanoke, VA - Officials with the Roanoke Police Department say the man killed in Friday's motorcycle crash is Christopher M. Abbott, 40, of Bedford.

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police say Williamson Road has been reopened after a deadly motorcycle crash there earlier Friday morning.

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police are on the scene of a deadly crash involving a motorcycle.
Officers say a motorcycle crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Williamson Road and Compton Street.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
Williamson Road between Wayne Street and Pocahontas Avenue is shut down right now.
