Martinsville, VA - A Martinsville woman is in jail, after police say she shot her husband.
Deputies got a call about 11p.m. Thursday night, that someone had been shot on Lakewood Trail.
After arriving on scene, they found 37-year-old Cornelius Pernell Brim with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Brim's wife, 45-year-old Sarah Ward Hairston is in jail without bond.
