Teen Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter - WSET.com - ABC13

Franklin Co., VA - A Franklin County woman has pleaded guilty for the death of her classmate Zachary Parsons, who was 17.

Marina Snyder, who turned 18 last week, made the plea to involuntary manslaughter as part of a deal with the Commonwealth.

That deal calls for Snyder to receive a suspended 10 year sentence based on her entry into the juvenile justice system.

Snyder was 17 when the car she was driving went out of control and crashed, killing Parsons.

A judge will hand down her sentence later this summer.
