Lynchburg, VA- The Old City Cemetery in Lynchburg has something special to add to your garden. Antique, heirloom roses are now on sale at the Cemetery.
Some of them were first introduced in the 1750's and 1920's. Right now, they are offering two of these flowers for the price of one. They come in small or large pots. These roses cost about $17 to $30.
"They are not found in many places in the area. They are actually grown in this area, and they were specifically brought to the cemetery because of their importance," said Karen Bracco, with public relations for Old City Cemetery.
The sale runs Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Old City Cemetery.
