Collision Injures 4, Causes Delays

Rustburg, VA - A woman has been charged with reckless driving Tuesday in a head on collision on Suburban road in Campbell county.
State police tell us 22 year-old Heather Jackson ran off the right shoulder of the road, over corrected and drove into on-coming traffic.
They say she hit a vehicle carrying three people a little before 6 p.m. State Police had to extricate two people trapped inside the car, state police say, Jackson hit.
One of the people involved in the crash was flown by helicopter to Lynchburg General. All four involved were transported to Lynchburg General Hospital and some have serious injuries.
State police say none of the injuries are life-threatening. Suburban road was shut down as crews worked to free the trapped passengers.
