Lynchburg, VA - Crews have been busy this week putting up a 6 ft. fence on the Rivermont Bridge in Lynchburg.
The bridge has had a reputation of being a so-called "suicide bridge."
Just last month someone jumped to their death there.
The higher fence has been in the plan since the city started repairing the bridge a few years ago.
This was the last phase of the construction.
