Botetourt Co., VA - A Buchanan man has been charged with attempted murder of a police officer after a shooting Wednesday night.
Steven Prease, 33, has been charged with four felonies in connection with a shooting near his home.
The Botetourt County Sheriff says officers were called to a house on Fourth Street in Buchanan shortly before 11 p.m. for a report of shots being fired.
The sheriff has not released what happened when authorities arrived, but only says that no one was injured.
He's being held in jail without bond.
