Friday was the third and final day of former E.C. Glass star B.B. Shavers football skills camp at E.C. Glass High School
The last three days, kids ages 7 to 18 have been working on the fundamentals of the game as well as hearing from a variety of speakers, including former NFL stars Ruben Brown and Keith Hamilton. They talked football and more importantly about life skills, things all the kids can put into practice in the future.
B.B. Shavers, FOOTBALL CAMP DIRECTOR, said "We want to make sure that these kids through this camp, they will become leaders and more importantly 5, 10, 15 years from now they'll be inside colleges here, in the Virginia area and throughout the country."
