Update: Two Killed in Accident, Four Passengers & Baby in Hospital


Update Monday 4:15 p.m.:

Henry Co., VA – Officials have released the names of the two people killed in an early morning crash in Henry County.

Ann Murray, 29, and William Roy Ingram, 34, were pronounced dead at the scene on Route 58.

Officials say at about 9:30 a.m., Murray, driving a Ford Taurus, was pulling out of a driveway onto Route 58 when she was struck by the driver of a Ford E250 who was traveling eastbound.

Officials say Murray and her passenger Ingram were not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.

The four adult passengers in the Taurus were taken Memorial Hospitals of Martinsville for treatment, along 7-month-old boy who was flown to Baptist.


Henry Co., VA – Crews are on the scene of a deadly accident in Henry County Monday.

It happened on Route 58 in Horse Pasture between Martinsville and Stuart.

State police officials have confirmed that at least two people were killed in this crash.

It involved two vehicles: a car and a van.

An ABC 13 crew also reports seeing a car seat at the scene.
