Update 4:15 p.m.:

Danville, VA - Police have arrested the man they say was involved in an armed robbery in Danville Monday night.

Officials with the Danville Police Department and Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Office say the found out Michael Wyatt was staying at the Budget Inn Motel on Piney Forest Rd. When deputies tried to stop Wyatt in his car, he fled. 

After a on Piney Forest Road and Central Boulevard, officials finally got him in custody.

Danville, VA - Police are looking for a man they say was involved in an armed robbery.

Investigators say, at around 10:15p.m. Monday , Michael Wyatt, 47, walked into the PAK Supermarket and Grill on Westover Drive and showed a black hand gun.

Police say he took an undisclosed amount of money then left the store and headed west on Westover Drive.  

No one was injured. 

Wyatt is considered armed and dangerous.

He was wearing a dark gray short sleeved shirt, jeans, black mask and gloves.

Danville, VA. - Danville Police are on the scene of an armed robbery. Investigators say, around 10:15 Monday night, a man walked into the PAK Supermarket and Grill on Westover Drive, and showed a black hand gun.


The man took an undisclosed amount of money.  He then left the store and went west on Westover Drive. We're told no one was hurt.

Police say the man has been identified as a 5'10 white male with a medium build.  He was wearing a dark gray short sleeved shirt, jeans, black mask and gloves. We'll have more information for you as we get it.
