Lynchburg, VA - Areva is partnering with the Red Cross Tuesday to hand out bags of ice in the community.
They were out at 10 a.m. loading up vehicles at their Mill Ridge Road office.
Volunteers were going to drive through the hardest hit areas of the city like Old Forest and Boonsboro roads.
Areva officials say they still have about a half a truck load left.
"Saturday when the mayor came on with a press conference and said the greatest need, we knew that our employees were having issues with power and we thought it would be a good gesture," said George Beam, vice president of Areva.
