Gillette Elected to Replace Foster as Lynchburg Mayor - WSET.com - ABC13

Lynchburg, VA – Lynchburg City Council voted 4 to-2 Tuesday afternoon to elect Councilman Mike Gillette as Lynchburg's new mayor.

Former Mayor Joan Foster, Mike Gillette, Randy Nelson and Ceasor Johnson all voted for Gillette.

Turner Perrow and H. Cary both voted for Foster to continue the post.

They then voted for her to be vice mayor, but the same four voted to re-elect Ceasor Johnson.

Council Member Jeff Helgeson was absent.
