Franklin County, VA. - The Franklin County Health Department and The Virginia Department of Health issued a boil water order for customers of Highland Lake Waterworks.
Do not drink the tap water without boiling it first.
This boil order is in effect until further notice.
The boil water order was called due to the power outage from the storms.
The outage has caused the water supply to drop and require water hauling to maintain water service.
