Lynchburg, VA - There's still time to make your Fourth of July plans by heading out to the Lynchburg Hillcats game.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and organizers say there are still plenty of tickets left.

Right now, organizers expect some 5,000 people to come out for the game and the fireworks show.

The game will start at 7 p.m. and the fireworks will follow that.

You can even sit on the field for the fireworks, so bring your lawn chair or a blanket.

But General Manger Paul Sunwall says usually this night is much more packed and he blames the storms.

Sunwall says he knows people are stressed by what's happened but says this is a good way to relax.

Tickets are 8 dollars for adults, six for kids.

You can get them at the gate or on the Lynchburg Hillcats website.
