A woman accused of hitting a 4-year-old girl with her car and taking off was arrested late Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect, Elizabeth Mooney reportedly struck the girl at an apartment complex near 36th and Peoria around noon on Wednesday then tried to leave town.
Mooney was arrested a few hours later outside Hominy, OK.
She was arrested on charges of assault and battery and fleeing the scene of an accident. She is currently out on bond.
Recent reports say that the 4 year old girl is in fair condition.
