Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police say a man they arrested earlier this week for a weekend burglary has been linked to a string of crimes.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Jarod Sylvester Alston of Bedford Saturday night after police say he was trying to leave a home he broke into on Avenham Avenue. Now, they've connected Alston to another burglary on Avenham Avenue, as well as a home break-in on Wycliffe Avenue and a burglary at the Pure Gas Station on Franklin Road.
We're told officers recovered the stolen property at a home on Longview Avenue.
