Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg's landfill on Concord Turnpike was supposed to be closed Monday as the city transitions to the new regional landfill, but the city is keeping it open.
They want to continue giving residents a way to get their brush and trash taken care of.
There's a massive amount of debris still out there. However no commercial trash will be accepted there-- that's now going to the Campbell County landfill in Rustburg.
