Danville, VA - Averett University is picking up awards getting the Marketing Recruitment Excellence Award.
It recognizes state-of-the-art programs, services and strategies that help improve student enrollment.
Since 2008, Averett's new student enrollment has increased by 18 %.
By fall, the school hopes to set a new record for incoming students by welcoming a class of 360.
Averett attributes some of this success to scholarship competitions and campus tours.
