Botetourt Co., VA - Officials have identified the woman killed in a car accident Tuesday morning as Lakeisha Renee Byrd, 22, of Roanoke.

Botetourt Co., VA - State Police say a woman was killed in a crash Tuesday morning in Botetourt County.
It happened about 8 a.m. on Route 220 near Chatham Road in Eagle Rock.
Officers say the woman was heading south on 220 when she ran off the left side of the road, went over an embankment and hit several trees.
Officials say she was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her identity is not being released pending notification of family, but officials say she was in her early twenties.
