Roanoke, VA - Tickets to see President Obama on his Roanoke campaign stop will be available to the public starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday. People started to show up very early.
The line began forming outside of Old Fire Station Number 1 before noon. By 2 p.m., more than 25 people were already in line.
Those making a day out of it didn't want to miss their chance to see a president.
"I've never seen a president…no president. So this is very exciting for me. Especially being an African American at that, you know," Bernard Arrington.
President Obama will be joined by other state democrats in front of the old fire station shortly before 8 p.m. Friday.
