Romney Campaign Bus Stops In Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - A Mitt Romney campaign bus made a stop in Lynchburg Wednesday.

Hill City residents supporting the Republican nominee for President boarded the bus and made campaign calls to voters. Others stopped into the Republican Victory Headquarters and registered to vote.

Local state Senators Frank Ruff and Steve Newman made appearances as well.

Romney has three of these buses traveling throughout the country.

Republican Party officials say they've been a tremendous tool in helping recruit Romney supporters.

"We've had great crowds at every event. People have been coming on board and making phone calls in their local communities, and we're just thrilled to have all this support behind us, and we are very intent on riding this enthusiasm all the way to November," said Michael Short, the Republican National Committee Communications Director.

From Lynchburg, the bus traveled to Danville and then onto Virginia Beach.
