Ambulance Driver Fined After Fatal Crash - WSET.com - ABC13

Lynchburg, VA - A Campbell County ambulance driver involved in a deadly wreck in May walked away with a $25 fine.

A Lynchburg judge found Justin Kidd, 25, guilty of improper driving.

Police say Kidd ran a red light on Campbell and Avenues, colliding with Dean Anders pickup truck.

Anders, 69, died at the scene.

Officials say the judge did not convict Kidd of reckless driving because he believed Kidd thought the light was green when he passed.
