Richmond, VA - Governor Bob McDonnell is publicly criticizing some ads released by the Obama campaign, saying they are so dishonest they should be taken down.
The ads accuse Republican Mitt Romney of outsourcing jobs while a venture capitalist at Bain Capital.
McDonnell says the ads are not relevant because they stem from a time after Romney left as Bain Capital's director in 1999 to head to the Salt Lake City Olympics.
ABC-13 asked the Obama campaign for a response. They
say documents confirm that Romney was with Bain three years longer than he
admits, including the firm's 2002 filings that identify him as CEO.
