Montvale, VA- You're going to have to wait a little longer to go through the closed section of Route 460 in Montvale.
Two lanes are closed after a deadly tanker accident in May that left thousands of gallons of diesel behind.
Clean-up crews dug up a lot of contaminated soil, and the road is not stable to drive on. The Virginia Department of Transportation officials say it needs to be re-paved and rebuilt.
VDOT says none of this work will fall on taxpayers; the trucking company is responsible for the damages. So far, no timetable has been set for when that part of 460 to re-open.
