Salem, VA – Officials with the Salem Police Department say they have received several reports of credit card number thefts from a local restaurant.
Officials say credit card numbers were taken from the Denny's restaurant on West Main Street. They say the numbers were probably stolen electronically and not as a result of an on-site employee capturing the information.
The Denny's franchise is working with the Salem Police Department and other authorities to investigate.
If you visited the Denny's restaurant between February and June 2012 and have since discovered fraudulent account charges, officials ask that you report the fraud to your financial institutions.
